From Chris Kalb: “My mission with this book design was to create a ‘pulp experience’ without being nostalgic. For the interior of the collection, I took all of the elements from the pulp magazines (minus the character portraits) and put them together in a new way that I am hoping is as exciting for today’s readers as the pulps were for Depression-era fans.”
